What are some good exercises to do before football season start?

Next year I will play football in my freshman year. I am in eighth grade and my parents made me wait for school to play football. I'm decently well, and I need some exercises to do for me all ready for next year. I have a whole year before it starts. I have access to a gym. What exercises, weight lifting tips, or conditioning exercises I do. I am determined to work hard before the season. Thanks guys, any answers are greatly appreciated.

It depends on your position you want to play. Lineman need strong legs. so if you can get ankle weights that would be great. and then run any hills you can find (by up to down is what do) and then you want to squat, and lift weights, start light two until comfortable with his technique then add the weight in increments 10. If you are doing a running back or linebacker, you want to squat a lot of foot drills, you can look to those who go. if the going to be a quarterback who want to throw a ball with a partner as much as possible. and running back position if you want to work on speed racing. do 40 scripts patio. and then rest 5-10 seconds, then repeat. if its not one of those positions you can send an e-mail me.
