football Offensive Positions
Of course everybody knows that the quarterback is the highest paid player and the most important player on the team, however that being said, it is a team sport and without your left offensive tackle covering your ass when its out the pocket, there would be no great pass and hence no great touch down.
The second highest paid position is your left offensive tackle. Next in line of importance and 5 star quality is your wide receiver. And most of time your quarterback gets two wide receivers breaking dirt, but occasionally those really great fantastic moments, you get to see a tight end playing wide receiver or it might actually be another wide receiver. That’s right folks, you get to watch football at its best playing three wide receivers at the very same time.
Watching great blocking, great skill being executed by your offensive lineman followed by a perfect pass and caught by a perfect wide receiver. Now that’s what makes us die hard fans loyal for life. Great moments defined by greatness in split seconds.
Let’s recap. Your front line wide receiver, left tackle, left guard and center. Then, right guard, right tackle, tight end and wide receiver. Quarterback falls just behind the center and a few feet behind him a tail back and full back complete the total 11 man offensive team.
