Is there a rule against chameleon paint on college football helmets?

I'm sure most of you have seen cars painted with paint that changes pitch as the optical angle turns. Could a team from the University of Oregon, such as using the painting method on helmets? Imagine updating USC helmets for gold colors to red as the runner passes. Drive a blue field, show my team in helmets and pads that change color from blue to purple.

IIRC, Oregon, in fact, the use of such paint scheme once in their hulls – to simulate the effect that the feathers from a wild duck of the head occur when the sun shines on it. Do not see why it would not be a rule against such helmets, without them the installation of LED's or shine or something as a distraction. Army recently digital camouflage in their helmets for a game or two instead of the traditional gold helmets. As a USC fan, I personally would be shocked if USC began to adopt forms of Oregon. Oregon sometimes wears uniforms that have ZERO representation of their school colors of green and gold. While wearing a set that was silver, black and white. That's fine for a program like Oregon, which has not won a national championship or Heisman Trophy winner, but for a Flats program like USC, I am in favor of the traditional. Sure enough the fans of Notre Dame, Alabama, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio State, and other traditional powers probably feel similar. What if the Michigan Wolverines came out wearing some uniform was light blue with silver trim and a picture of a wolf on the side of helmets? Fans of Casa Grande probably faint! But I digress …
