Does anyone know anything about the college recruitment equestrian?

?

As my wife and I learned first hand the world of Equestrian College recruiting can be confusing and a little intimidating. I will try to give some meaning to the processes in the space allowed. There are many college different organizations that are straddling the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association), IDA (Intercollegiate Association Dressage), the ANRC (American National Riding Commission), and the NIRA (National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association). First we will cover a little about the NCAA. The NCAA only allows women to be recruited cyclists and this is a result of Title 9 which covers gender equality. Personally, I think this is unfair, and equestrian is one of the very few sports where men and women compete against each other in the Olympics. The guidelines are very stringent recruitment and must be followed to the letter. The NCAA allows 15 scholarships each university and schools can do whatever they want. Some give partial scholarships to horse / academics so they can recruit more pilots. Passengers must register with the NCAA clearinghouse before they are eligible to be recruited. A new rule went into affect this past year also dictates that the SAT or ACT results should be sent directly to the NCAA Clearinghouse by the testing agency. No exceptions. The pilots also must maintain good financial history of any prize money or expenses of any jurisdiction to another can make money as it deems eligible for the NCAA. Remember that your travel, food, the groom, tickets, etc. count against its earnings to keep your receipts. There are other requirements too many to list in this article as contacts with coaches, school, visits etc. Read more at www.equestriancollegrecruiter.com The IHSA is the oldest and largest national university competitive riding program in the United States. Founded in 1967, the IHSA was the first to be part of the equestrian sports of the college experience of male and female students in a way that is fun, accessible, educational and competitive. Each year more than 6,500 riders of all levels IHSA individually and in teams compete at regional, zonal and national championships. The IHSA offers opportunities for riders who are starting in the sport as well as for students with performance experience. The elimination of shipping or even owning horses puts IHSA competitions within the reach of many people who would otherwise miss the equestrian experience, while the university. Many Olympic riders including Greg Best Beezie Madden in and are alumni of IHSA. The Tour rider trot is so important for their IHSA team medal and Maclay riders. No recruitment patterns in IHSA, and the riders are allowed to make money and not considered to be a professional, but pilots must keep a record of his films won at different levels and heights of display near this can affect your status as a novice. IDA provides a number of affiliated dressage competitions for the U.S. Dressage Federation Member's colleges and universities. In each show, individual and team points to win, which accounts for the regional classification and qualification for the national finals. The levels are introductory, Training Low Level Level of higher education, class and click Open. Runners up levels based on points earned. Horses and tactics are provided by the host school and assigned by lottery. The pilots have 10-15 minutes of warming-up time and may be assisted by coaches. There are over 47 universities compete in horse shows IDA. The American National Riding Commission, Inc. (ANRC) was established in 2006 to continue the goals and activities of the National Riding Commission members, that existed within the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) for over 60 years. The original purpose was to implement a standardized method to educate users on hunt seat riding and to create a "Rider certification" system to evaluate the riding ability and knowledge of the theory. ANRC continues to support these goals with competitions, clinics, and distribution of educational materials. ANRC educational system is based on the teachings of Captain Vladimir Littauer, a Russian who came to the United States in the thirties and established a riding school. Its progressive conduction system has influenced many professional riders and trainers, and Jane Dillon, George Morris, Joe Fargis, Lendon Gray, Pam Baker and Bernie Traurig. the NIRA has 147 members and universities offer scholarships to men and women in a variety of rodeo competitions and is exclusive of other programs that bring their own horse riders to college to compete. All these organizations emphasized that the potential recruit must have good grades, good test scores and a good work ethic work. Be that as "Riding adjustment" and, as in how you can be, and make a good impression in his audition to have the shirt
