Do I have any chance of walking to a football team?
Do you think I am much more than one occasion, where appropriate, to in a team? I'm 6'1, about 190, and my 40 yard dash time is 4.5 seconds. Division I schools I am applying to are Western Michigan, Arizona, and the State of Arizona. Then I am also applying to the UW La Crosse, which is Division III. Football is my favorite sport, but I have not played in a real team since 8th grade, because my school does not have a football program. I love the opportunity to play again in college, but I just always the impression that if not hired, then do not stand much of a chance to join the team.
You can do whatever you want, but not do so without hard work! I think everything is possible. Regardless of race, gender, whatever. Many people believe that some people are gifted. I disagree. God gives us gifts, but the gift he gives people when it comes to sports is known as a good work ethic. " You have to work hard if they want to compete. It is not just handed to you. Michael Jordan was a basketball player below average when I was in college. But I knew if I worked hard enough, the sky was the limit. And he was right! Based on the information you provided, I mean your time is 40 average, and their height and weight are not a problem. But you do not want average, to be the best! To do that, you should train harder. Many professional athletes are what they are because they train while the others eat donuts, and sits in front of a playstation or TV. Some are even motivated by anger. The great Butkis Dick once said, "when an offensive player laugh, pretend you're laughing at me! "And he was the best linebacker set foot on the football field. Another great linebacker Greg Lloyd was also motivated by anger to some extent. His mother listened as a child, and he said he took his anger out on the football field.
