Excel 2007 – Changing a number to text (1 = Florida)?

I am running an office pool for football and do not feel like typing all Schools in 50 times. I much more the kind of "1" and replaced it with "Florida." "2" and replaced it with "Alabama" I used the search tool to do that, but switched to "10" to "Florida0" Thank you in advance for any help …..

I would suggest through the "AutoCorrect Options ..". Not sure where it is in Excel 2007 but in Excel 2003, Tools. You could replace 'F1' with 'Florida'. Then whenever you type 'f1' on the spreadsheet will automatically be replaced with 'Florida'. Make entries for all computers using a single card with a number or two to avoid potential problems with partial words. You could use "fla" for Florida and is self-correcting. You would have to disable 'AutoComplete' to avoid possible problems that might cause. For example, if you entered the flame the word "in a column, then went into 'fla' in the same column that autocomplete to the flame.
