
football Stadium Cake Pan?
I bought a cake pan football stadium, but after I made the cake cracked and collapsed. Does anyone have any advice on how to make the cake look pretty as it does in the box? Thank you very much for the quick response. Also, is there a particular type cake that holds its shape better? "I can use a mix of Betty Crocker? Thanks!
well, you let the cake cool completely before removing it? That is very important to keep the cake from cracking. Furthermore, if in doubt, add more fat! I refer to grease the pan well before pouring the dough and baking. Another tip, after cooling very well and removing the cake from the cake pan, place in refrigerator or freezer for an hour before handling or glazed. When freezing, make a layer of "crumbs" which means first spread a thin layer of frosting on the cake only to contain the crumbs of the cake so you do not feel the temptation to use more force on the cake thus potentially damaging the cake. the biger the cake, the more fragile it is. an 8 "x8" may be more resistant a 9×9. good luck!
